- Encouraging community-driven development, so that new housing investments reflect the needs and voices of local residents and prevent displacement through gentrification.
- Cracking down on predatory landlords and corporate real estate investors who exploit loopholes, neglect repairs, or push out long-time tenants for profit.
- Promoting homeownership opportunities for working families through down payment assistance, fair mortgage lending practices, and support for first-time buyers.
